V&F Transformer has been structured to provide our clients with top quality transformers, built at a competitive price and always on time. 

There are many facets in this structure that allow us to be ahead of our competition. One facet of our success is a fully operational machine and wood shop. 2 head machinists with 28 years of combined experience, as well as a maintenance and machinist journeymen staff of 2 staff these fully- functioning shops. 

Shop Capabilities:

• Shear, bend and punch all metals, structural or flat up to 5/8” steel.  Bend and shear thinner metals up to 4‘ wide, and 1/8” thick.
• Mill, turn and precision grind all metals and plastics.
• Machine cut all metals up to 8” thick.
• Weld or braze copper, aluminum, steel and brass

Manufacturing Capabilities:

• Make dies for punching or forming metals or plastics
• Make machinery for winding foil up to .120” thick
• Rebuild equipment when necessary
• Make all jigs, fixtures, tooling, winding arbors, and any auxiliary parts for winding equipment
• Make all crates for shipping of large transformers

Back-Up Parts Inventory:

We have a complete inventory of all sizes of structural steel, aluminum, glastic, wood and plastics.  V&F maintains the necessary hardware and hand tools for assembling any size or type of equipment or tooling. 

All of the above allows V&F to design, manufacture and build tools, fixtures and equipment. This enables us to react to our customers needs at nearly a moments notice. 

Our proven approach ensures that samples and production are built faster, without having to go to outside vendors for auxiliary items or equipment. Our capable machine shop crew ensures that our production schedule is never held up due to down time and that serious equipment or tooling repairscan be made quickly, on-site.
